Mentoring Group and Professional Development
The goals of the Pinetree Braintrust are to support its members through mentoring and professional development, executive coaching, exclusive resources, and networking.
The Braintrust provides access to the following:
- Monthly Teleseminars on topical business and career planning issues.
- Access to the library of prior subjects covered. Some of these are on video, others are audio. Topics available include:
- Working with difficult people
- Communication - a new perspective
- From Filing and Disorganization to Knowledge Management
- Entrepreneurship
- Sales: A new way of looking at promotion
- Strategic Social Media
- Personal Branding: Garbage or Gold
- Tough Times Strategies
- Finding the motivation in yourself and others
- Career paths: 4 paths, 4 models
- Negotiating the best job offer
- Listing in the membership directory, to facilitate networking
- Monthly scheduled access to 10 minute laser coaching by phone or email.
- Exclusive discussion board to share ideas, resources, and opportunities with other Braintrust members.
- Ability to throw semi-confidential questions to the Braintrust membership for perspective. This might include questions on how to handle a client or business issue, job (or job search) issues, feedback on an idea of yours, etc. This operates on a Give-to-Get basis.

2) Professional Development
- Each month Randall will explore a career/entrepreneurial/consulting/or related topic.
3) 60 second power coaching:
- You ask a question, each attendee gives a 60 second answer or perspective
4) Q&A in depth: You ask, Randall answers
5) Pathways: Help set the Braintrust agenda

Membership would be of greatest interest to professionals, consultants, entrepreneurs, or upwardly-focused managers. This is not a group for the unemployed, although some members may be in the midst of a job search from time to time.
The cost for membership in the Braintrust is $100 monthly, plus any applicable taxes. These fees help defray the cost of setting up the infrastructure, developing the teleseminars and other content, etc. The Braintrust is subsidized (and sponsored by) Pinetree Advisors.
