New Member Orientation
Welcome to the Braintrust. The goal of this community is to provide support, professional development, and a network to help you in your business and career success. To get the most out of your membership, there are several things that you should do right now:
1) If you are not yet on LinkedIn, please join, and fill in your profile. Then, join the group "Pinetree Braintrust". This will give you direct access to other members, and will allow you to post (and answer) questions on our discussion group. Feel free to post news that you think will be relevant to the group.
2) Our usual monthly meetings are every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm Eastern. On the rare occasion, this will change, but consider blocking the time on your calendar. A few days before the call, you will receive an email with the call-in details, and detailed agenda.
3) If you are interested, remember to schedule your "laser coaching" appointment each month. This is an opportunity for you to ask a key question to your Braintrust coach, either on the phone (scheduled), or via email.
4) The Braintrust works on a "Give to Get" basis. The more you give of your perspective (by answering others' questions, adding to Braintrust discussions, etc), the more others will be willing to help you in return.
5) We sometimes tape our monthly teleconferences; if you miss a meeting, ask if a digital copy is available. If it is, you can listen to it at no cost.
6) Randall's books or products are available to you at a 30% discount. Please ask for your e-coupon.
7) If you know of anyone else who would be a good addition to the Braintrust, please ask them to join. As a thank you for joining, both you and the person will receive a signed copy of Randall's latest book, Personal Balance Sheet.
